Smooth PDF Reader delivers its interface and rendering libraries from this public Cloudflare Workers service. Files chosen with its local file picker are parsed, rendered and searched in your browser, not uploaded to this service. The server has no PDF-upload, document-reading, document-storage or document-editing endpoint.
The host may supply a file name and resource identifier when opening its file panel. File contents are obtained through the host-owned resource bridge; the host's file-handling policies apply. This service does not fetch or store those contents.
Saving a comment collects it in this reader only. When you explicitly choose Send to dialogue box, the complete batch of selected text or figure coordinates, page numbers, document identity/name and your comments enters the host's context interface. Your input text is unchanged and no message is sent automatically. Removing or clearing an attached comment updates this reader's context attachment. The host's privacy and retention settings apply, including OpenAI's privacy policy when you use an OpenAI host.
Document buffers, page caches and unsent viewer history are memory-only and released when the reader closes. Send your chat message before closing the reader or replacing the document revision if you need its attached context. This hosted edition does not access a microphone or provide speech recognition; the separate local Windows edition has its own local recording runtime. There is no application-level document database, request-body log, analytics or advertising. This public service does not require an account or authentication. Cloudflare hosts the service and can process network metadata, such as IP addresses and request information, under Cloudflare's privacy policy; this application does not retain that metadata.
Links you choose to open lead to external sites with their own policies. Public GitHub support issues must not contain private documents, credentials or confidential screenshots.
